If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation and tiny tears on parts of the folds. It had a tear in the yellow background by the horse's foot at middle right. It had pinholes and some paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Also, after the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and it acquired creases running down the bottom half of the left excess linen, very slightly entering the bottom left edge of the poster itself. There is a lesser amount of similar creases in the left excess linen only. Learn More about condition grades
