Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this first release style C one-sheet, and only one in the last 26 years! Also note that this style C has an image that most collectors much prefer to that of the style D! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, scuffs, and tiny bits of paper loss scattered down the vertical fold, with some on the horizontal folds. It had pinholes and some light stains around the edges, with grease pencil writing on the back of the upper right border that slightly bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone backed the poster (likely many years ago) onto a thin backing with no excess, and performed only the slightest of restoration. If I owned this great poster, I would surely have it removed from the old linen and properly re-backed, and afterwards, it will display wonderfully. Learn More about condition grades
