An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-Release Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/4" x 19" [36 x 48 cm]) (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Important Added Info: Note that for this 1960s Belgian re-release, the distributor used entirely different art which includes a large image of Alfred Hitchcock (who is not on the first release poster)! Note also that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/4" x 19" [36 x 48 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). It has been folded a few times horizontally and vertically and it has some light creases along those areas. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it should display pretty nicely from a reasonable viewing distance. Learn More about condition grades
