An Unfolded Special Poster (measures 25 1/4" x 35" [64 x 89 cm]) (Learn More) Salvador Dali (Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dali i Domenech, 1st Marques de Dali de Pubol) was a Spanish artist from the 1900s to the 1980s. Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His best-known work is likely The Persistence of Memory which was completed in 1931. Dali's expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture, and photography, at times in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media. He was highly imaginative, and also enjoyed indulging in unusual and grandiose behavior. He passed away in 1989 at the age of 84. His body was exhumed in 2017 to collect DNA for a paternity suit (testing later proved he was not the father), and according to his embalmer, Dali's mustache was still in the '10 past 10' position! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair. There are some creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges. There is light rippling and discoloration throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. A few of the tears or other defects as described above are repaired with tape from the back.
