She starred in a few movies including: Evita, Desperately Seeking Susan, Who's That Girl, Shadows and Fog, and A League of Their Own. She certainly inspired the current generation of female singer/celebrities! Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Madonna! Our consignor (who was a diplomat for the U.S. in exotic locations) obtained this autograph through personal correspondence with Madonna (she asked her to send her a signed playbill, and she agreed to do so). Many of the people she corresponded with specifically mentioned that they were impressed by her exotic address and they seem to write longer responses because of that! Note that we can't say for absolute certain that Madonna herself signed this playbill, because it would seem possible that she would have an employee sign for her, but in this case, the person writing to her was a diplomat from Beijing, so one would think Madonna would take the time to sign it herself (and it is personalized), and the autograph does match online examples we have seen of Madonna's.
