Eat less wheat-meat-fats and sugar. Ship more to the war-stricken people of France- Belgium- Italy") requesting that people eat less and ship more to the war-torn countries in Europe, and featuring George Illion art of the famous Catholic cardinal. Note that Cardinal Mercier was a Belgian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and is well-remembered for his staunch resistance to the German occupation of Belgium from 1914 to 1918. After the invasion, he distributed a strong pastoral letter, Patriotism and Endurance, to be read in all his churches, urging the people to keep up their spirits. Artist: Geroge Illion Condition: good to very good. The poster has several light horizontal creases scattered in various areas (especially in the upper horizontal fold - see our image).
