Zanuck"; about a hot shot American pilot in the days just before the U.S. entered World War II, who cares only about himself, but he goes to England and meets an old girlfriend who is now in the R.A.F., and he joins in an effort to win her back, and in doing so, comes to realize why the Allies were fighting in World War II) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Betty Grable, John Sutton, Reginald Gardiner, Gladys Cooper, and Ralph Byrd NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and tiny paper loss at the other two crossfolds. It had small tears in the top and bottom quarter of the vertical fold, with minor wear on the other folds. It had pinholes around the edges, with a few scattered in the image. It had an NSS stamp on the back of the upper right and some grease pencil writing on the back of the same area, and it somewhat bled through to the front in the top of the "K" of "YANK" and the red background near it. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
