Morris Burke Parkinson was a photographer from the 1860s to the 1920s. He was best known for his Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep photos, which were taken in 1897 and supplied in frames produced by the Ohio Art Company in the early 1900s (perhaps around 1912). People enjoyed the images so much, they bought the frames just for the photographs inside. He passed away in 1926 at the age of 79
