In our own country Bolshevist forces of sedition are stirring, threatening to expose our country to economic devastation. Polish units are breaking into old German lands and advancing westwards. Major resources are needed. Help straight away! Speed is urgent! All deposit banks and branches of the Berlin major banks are willing to accept contributions marked 'Osthilfe' [Eastern Aid]. -The Government of the Reich". This poster features Karl Hachez artwork of a huge monster destroying a town and menacing fleeing civilians. Note that this poster bears the name of Gustav Noske (Minister of Defense of the Weimar Republic) and other officials.
