An Original Vintage Folded French World War I Poster (measures 22 1/2" x 30" [57 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Pour Nos Combattants et nos Morts Glorieux (literally translates to "For our Soldiers and our Glorious Dead"), the 1916 French World War I (WWI) Home Front poster promoting a special mass which was held on May 8th at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, and was conducted by Cardinal Amette, the Arch-Bishop of Paris.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There is a tax stamp at right. The poster is somewhat brittle and there is a large tear right of center and much separation and tattering along the foldlines and edges that has been repaired with tape from the back.
