a lot of 40 contact sheets from Footlight Serenade, the 1942 Gregory Ratoff New York City romantic love triangle boxing sports Broadway theater stage musical comedy ("Based on a story by Fidel LaBarba & Kenneth Earl"; "Another 20th miracle-musical!"; about a conceited world champion boxer who takes a part in a Broadway show, and who gets involved in a romantic triangle with a beautiful chorus girl) starring John Payne, Betty Grable, Victor Mature, Jane Wyman, James Gleason, Phil Silvers, Cobina Wright, June Lang, and Mantan Moreland. Note that these are what photographers call "contact sheets". Traditionally, film photographers will print these sheets to quickly show clients a large number of images so they can choose the ones they like. In this case, the still photographer on the set shot various images of the cast and crew for use in promoting the movie.
