An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 26 1/4" x 40 1/2" [67 x 103 cm]) (Learn More)

RKO/Pathe, the circa 1930s stock poster ("Pathe Review: The Magazine of the Screen") with a large blank area at the center in which specific headlines could be added from the current newsreel. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Shortly after it was printed, poster was glued to "kraft" paper (this is called "kraftbacking"). This was commonly done in the 1920s to help posters stay in one piece as they traveled from theater to theater. THIS POSTER HAS MAJOR CONDITION DEFECTS, WHICH SHOULD BE EVIDENT FROM THE IMAGE BELOW. It can be professionally restored, but that can take a fair amount of money, so bear the restoration costs in mind BEFORE you place a bid on this item!

Condition: poor. The poster is in much lesser condition. It has been kraftbacked and has really significant soiling and staining due to exposure to moisture and the elements (see above and our image - it was likely found in a floorboard or used as insulation at one time). The poster is in urgent need of restoration, and certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above, but please bear in mind the potential cost of restoration before placing a bid.
