Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style D One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More)

The Bugle Sounds, the 1942 S. Sylvan Simon World War II (WWII) military comedy ("Based on a story by Lawrence Kimble and Cyril Hume"; this was an attempt by MGM to recapture the big successes that Wallace Beery had with Marie Dressler in the early 1930s, but Dressler was no longer alive, so MGM substituted Marjorie Main, another "battleaxe" type; about a crusty old Cavalry Sergeant who resists adapting to the modern army with tanks and other modern inventions) starring Wallace Beery, Marjorie Main, Lewis Stone, George Bancroft, Henry O'Neill, Donna Reed, Chill Wills, and William Lundigan
