Stein English romantic musical biography melodrama (a highly fictionalized biography of famed composer Franz Schubert) starring Richard Tauber (as Franz Schubert; billed as "The world's greatest tenor"), Jane Baxter, Carl Esmond, Athene Seyler, and Paul Graetz. Note that this movie was based on a successful operetta, which had a score by Sigmund Romberg. To avoid paying royalties, the producers of this movie did not use that score, but used authentic Schubert music instead! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
