What Men Want, the 1930 Ernst Laemmle romantic love triangle melodrama ("Warner Fabian's sensational drama"; about a woman who is being "kept" by a rich man, but she wants to get married, so she starts romancing another rich man, but then her younger sister shows up and also starts romancing him) starring Ben Lyon, Pauline Starke, Barbara Kent, Hallam Cooley, and Robert Ellis. Note that director Ernst Laemmle was Carl Laemmle Sr.'s nephew, and one of many of this relatives that he "brought over" from Germany. Ernst directed many westerns, but after directing this, his only talking feature film, the reviews were so bad that he returned to Germany and directed a few movies for Universal there, but then he retired from the movies in 1930, and passed away in Hollywood in 1950.
