Important Added Info: Note that this is a silver plated box that is engraved with a line drawing of a U.S. destroyer with the number 18 on it on the lid of the box (see our image). On the inside of the lid it reads "'THE CAINE MUTINY' 1954 Stanley Kramer" (see our image). The box was a crew gift made by production for presentation to the cast and crew (Stanley Kramer was the producer). The box comes in a brown cloth bag (not pictured). Our consignor purchased this box from a Profiles in History auction, and the winner of the box will receive the printed description from that auction plus the property tag that was with it. Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package (sometimes a very large oversized package; see the dimensions of the item). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. In addition, some of the items that are in this section are ones that are "three dimensional" and need to be shipped in a box, and often need to be sent by themselves, because combining them with other items would likely cause damage, so bear that in mind as well before bidding. Condition: very good. The box has some tarnish (see our images) Learn More about condition grades
