The company began as Standard Oil of New Jersey but eventually became known as Esso ("Eastern States Standard Oil"). In the past, the company has also branched into other areas, including tires & batteries (under the name Atlas), kerosene, service stations and more. In modern times, Esso is a trading name for ExxonMobil and its related companies. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that Esso (now Exxon) made this really cool map in support of the war effort during World War II, and it has really cool art on both sides of the map.
