An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked West Hemisphere One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Ian Fleming's Live and Let Die, the 1973 Guy Hamilton English James Bond 007 secret agent spy espionage fantasy action adventure thriller (based on the novel by Ian Fleming; featuring the title song written by Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney, and performed by Wings) starring Roger Moore ("as James Bond"), Yaphet Kotto, Jane Seymour (as Solitaire), Clifton James (as Sheriff J.W. Pepper), Julius Harris (as Tee Hee the henchman), Geoffrey Holder (as Baron Samedi), Gloria Hendry (as Rosie), David Hedison (as Felix Leiter), and Madeline Smith NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "WEST HEMI" which means it was printed for use within the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "EAST HEMI" for use outside the United States). Often, the "EAST HEMI" posters would have a different (sometimes racier) image than that for the one used in the United States. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had creases and tiny scuffs alongside the vertical foldline in the area between the top crossfold and the top of the girl's head. There were a lesser number of tiny creases on the other foldlines. The poster had very minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and looks great! Learn More about condition grades
