An Undated (probably 1944) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Brother Rat, the 1938 William Keighley Virginia Military Institute military academy romantic comedy ("From the play by John Monks, Jr. & Fred F. Finklehoffe") starring Priscilla Lane, Wayne Morris, Johnnie Davis, Jane Wyman, Eddie Albert, and Ronald Reagan. Note that two years after this movie was made, co-stars Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman married, and remained married for eight years! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. It had small paper loss in the bottom right of Wyman's hair and some pinholes around the edges, with small paper loss in the lower left blank border. It had some minor wear on the foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
