An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More)

The Ramrodder, the 1969 Van Guylder & Ed Forsyth sexploitation Native American Indian cowboy western ("The definitive film of the Great American sexplosion!"; "laid in the 19th century American west... a time and place of unbridled carnage and carnality...") starring Roger Gentry, Kathy Williams, Robert Aiken, Julia Blackburn, David Rosenkranz, Catherine Share, and Bobby Beausoleil. This is a very bizarre movie, to say the least! It is a fairly standard cowboy western movie, about a cowboy who ends up living with a Native American tribe, and he is falsely accused of murder, but he is saved by the chief's daughter, who has fallen in love with him. Yet it has the very unusual added element of having adult sex scenes added in! We don't know if this started as a western that got changed into a sexploitation movie, or a sexploitation movie where the producers added the "western" gimmick to it (without apparently spending much money on costumes or sets), but either way, it is certainly very different. Interestingly, this film was shot at the now infamous Spahn Ranch, and Catherine Share and Bobby Beausoleil were both part of the Charles Manson "Family" at the time. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this item contains some nudity, so we have placed a white bar over those areas for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual item does not have the white bars. Note also that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm].

Condition: good. Someone elected to cover over the art of the two women at left with black marker (leaving the one at right uncensored.) Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
