An Original 1962 (from the first release of this movie in France) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 45 1/2" x 63" [116 x 160 cm]) (Learn More) All That Heaven Allows, the 1955 Douglas Sirk romantic love triangle older-woman-younger-man melodrama ("How much does Heaven Allow a Woman in Love?"; "The Magnificent Stars of 'Magnificent Obsession' Reunited!"; "Produced by Ross Hunter"; about a wealthy widow whose grown children want her to marry a suitable man her age, but she falls for the much younger and super handsome gardener, much to the dismay of her children) starring Jane Wyman, Rock Hudson, Agnes Moorehead, Conrad Nagel, Virginia Grey, Leigh Snowden, William Reynolds, and Charles Drake. Note that this movie re-teamed Rock Hudson and Jane Wyman, who had starred together in Ross Hunter and Douglas Sirk's "Magnificent Obsession", and although the plot was unoriginal, they overcame the material and delivered a very popular movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Xarrie Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines, with some light smudges around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
