Note that this was John Barrymore's last great performance, and it helped that he was a real life alcoholic washed up man playing an alcoholic washed up man on screen. Also note that the movie was basically remade in 2008 as "Swing Vote" with Kevin Costner in the lead role. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tears and paper loss scattered down the vertical foldline and the left half of the top horizontal fold, with tears and paper loss in the right of the top foldline. There was also paper loss in Barrymore's forehead and in his hat. Some of the top and left blank borders were trimmed off. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
