An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Rip, Sew and Stitch, the 1953 Jules White slapstick comedy short ("A riotous romp... bursting at the seams!"; "A Columbia Short-Subject Presentation"; in this entry, the Stooges are broke tailors, but fortunately, a bank robber leaves his coat with the combination to a bank safe in the pocket, and they are able to turn him in for a reward, which saves them financially) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard), Phil Arnold, and Tiny Brauer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was seven years ago (but that example was linenbacked and this one is not, and that was the ONLY movie paper item we have ever auctioned for this short!). Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes in three blank corners, and there is paper loss in the lower left blank corner that has been covered in tape (see our image). There are some small tears in portions of the right half of the upper horizontal fold and there is tiny paper loss with some diagonal creases in and near the top crossfold. There is a tiny dot stain in Moe's collar at right. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a relatively simple linenbacking the poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
