An Original Vintage Austrian Film Program (measures 6" x 9" [15 x 23 cm]; 8 pages) (Learn More) The Rise of Catherine the Great (released in the U.S. as "Catherine the Great"), the 1934 Paul Czinner English historical Russia royalty biographical melodrama starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr. (as Grand Duke Peter), Elisabeth Bergner (in the title role as Catherine), Gerald du Maurier (a very distinguished British stage actor who appeared in a handful of silent movies from 1917 to 1920, and in a handful of sound movies in the early to mid 1930s; he is the father of author Daphne du Maurier), Flora Robson, and Irene Vanbrugh NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover, the back cover, and an interior 2-page spread from this program.
