An Original Vintage Campaign Book (measures 11" x 14 1/2" [28 x 37 cm]; 28 pages) (Learn More) Paramount 1923-24, the 1923 campaign book sent to theater owners to encourage them to show their new movies. Apparently, this was the last promotional book they created before they arrived at the "modern" design of campaign books the following year, with their 1924-25 book, which resembles later ones. This one is designed like a calendar and it contains 30 pages, and they have calendar months printed at the bottom (the month in which that particular movie would be released, sometimes several movies in the same month), with the rest of the page having an ad for a current movie. This is surely incredibly rare, even more rare than their later "regular" campaign books! Condition: fair to good. One page that was between the August and September releases was ripped out, and there is a tiny bit of that page left in the book (which is how we know it was removed). The cover was partially folded back near the middle. Otherwise, the book is in pretty good condition, and we leave it to bidders to decide how much to detract for the one missing page.
