Green silent poor-orphan-finds-love-and-success romantic comedy (based on the play by Guy Bolton; about a beautiful orphan in an asylum who gets a job as a dishwasher, and she has a chance to dance at a fancy party, and she is a success, but she is exposed as being "low class", and she is disgraced, but the Great Ziegfeld saw her perform, and hires her for the Follies, and she finds true love as well) starring Colleen Moore (in the title role as Sally), Lloyd Hughes, Leon Errol, Dan Mason, and Eva Novak. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that this movie was originally a Broadway play that started in 1920, and was produced by Flo Ziegfeld (which explains why he makes an appearance in the movie!). This movie was remade four years later as a musical with Marilyn Miller in the lead role, reprising the role that she had created on Broadway nine years earlier (and it was Miss Miller's first movie)!
