Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had two thin horizontal areas of paper loss near the center of the top foldline, with creases and small tears in the rest of that foldline. There was a tear at the center of the middle horizontal fold and some minor wear on the other folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (see our image for the exact location of that paper loss).
