Kenton detective crime murder mystery screwball comedy ("Their newest fun-riot...!"; "Original Story, Stanley Roberts"; about two dumb soda jerks who dream about writing mysteries for radio shows; they go to the station to pitch their ideas, and end up in the middle of a real murder investigation when the radio station owner is killed) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Patric Knowles, William Gargan, Louise Allbritton, William Bendix, Mary Wickes, Don Porter, and Ludwig Stossel. Note that in the movie, Abbott and Costello wear deerstalker hats, because of their association with legendary fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this 1942 first release title card, and this is one of those three examples that has been reconsigned to us, so it is still only one of three examples we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There were three stains near the center of the card (one above the "O" of "WHO", one running through the "D" of "DONE", and one running through the "N" of "DONE"), and someone partially erased those stains, but they are still noticeable.
