An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Two-Sided Japanese "B3" or "Nakazuri" Movie Poster (14x20; measures 14 3/4" x 21" [37 x 53 cm]) (Learn More) A Night in Casablanca, the 1946 Archie Mayo post-World War II (WWII) hotel casino gambling screwball comedy ("The Howl Raiser of 1946!"; "Loose again!"; "Screwloose again!"; "A story with a twist - and she's in it!"; "It's your night to howl"; the three brothers are employed in a post-World War II hotel/casino, where Nazis on the run are trying to recover a fortune in stolen treasure) starring the Marx Brothers (Groucho Marx ["the look"], Harpo Marx ["the ogle"], and Chico Marx ["the leer"]), Charles Drake, Lois Collier, Lisette Verea, Sig Ruman, Dan Seymour, Lewis Russell, David Hoffman, and Ruth Roman (in an uncredited role as a harem girl, but she is pictured on the one-sheet, and a tagline is next to her image that says "A story with a twist - and she's in it!") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that, immediately after World War II, the U.S. occupied Japan, and many American movies were shown in the late 1940s. All of the Japanese posters we have seen from that period have a "Motion Picture Export Association" circular printed logo on the poster, and this only seems to be on these late 1940s posters. Since there were many U.S. servicemen in Japan at this time, these posters have the title written in both Japanese and in English, and they are from the first Japanese release, and such posters from right after World War II are incredibly rare! Also note that this Japanese poster measures 14 3/4" x 21" [37 x 53 cm]. Condition: fair. The poster has much staining scattered throughout and in two of the right circular stains, there is paper loss. There is also paper loss in the top border. The poster is fragile, and certainly in urgent need of restoration, but it is also true that some or most of the staining can likely be removed through chemical means, and even if not, after linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and it will likely not require a lot of paint restoration.
