A 1959 Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian Locandina Movie Poster (measures 13 1/4" x 27 1/2") (Learn More) The Bandit of Sherwood Forest, the 1946 Henry Levin & George Sherman swashbuckling romantic adventure thriller ("In TECHNICOLOR! And NOW... The SON of Robin Hood! Lover! Outlaw! Adventurer!"; based on the novel 'The Son of Robin Hood' by Paul A. Castleton) starring Anita Louise, Jill Esmond, Edgar Buchanan (as Friar Tuck), Cornel Wilde ("Star of 'A Song to Remember' and 'Leave Her To Heaven'"; in the title role as Robert of Nottingham, the son of Robin Hood), Henry Daniell, John Abbott (as Will Scarlet), Lloyd Corrigan (as the Sheriff of Nottingham), and Ray Teal (as Little John) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an odd poster! Cornel Wilde only made this single Robin Hood movie (where he played the son of Robin Hood), but the poster also credits Ann Sheridan as his co-star, and Alex Hall as the director, and neither of those people were connected to that movie! We imagine the person creating the poster simply made two different errors. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this poster was folded across the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
