An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) When Knights Were Bold, the 1941 Volney White Terrytoons animated animation cartoon comedy short starring Robin Hood. Note that this is a stock one-sheet. Paul Terry created a different full-color stock poster each year in the late 1930s with a blank inset area. Then they would print in scenes and titles from specific cartoons on to the posters, so one full-color print run would yield posters for many different cartoons. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Condition: good. The poster has light rippling and many small indentations scattered throughout. It has tiny creases, tears, and bits of paper loss along portions of the vertical foldline and some small paper loss at the center left of the inset image.
