Date Sold 1/18/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Behemoth the Sea Monster (released in the U.S. as "The Giant Behemoth"), the 1959 Eugene Lourie & Douglas Hickox English/U.S. dinosaur science fiction (sci-fi) monster horror thriller ("The biggest thing since creation!"; "The biggest thing since time began!"; "Special Effects Designed and Created by Jack Rabin, Irving Block, Louis DeWitt") starring Gene Evans, Andre Morell, John Turner, Leigh Madison, and Henry Vidon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. Card #4 has two partial diagonal scratches in the area near and in the creature's neck (both slightly tear the paper and one has some areas of small surface paper loss - see our image). Card #8 has a small scuff in the lower left portion of the creature's neck and some light creases around the edges. Card #6 has a few light creases and faint smudges around the edges. Card #3 has pinholes in each corner and some affect the image of the creature at upper right. Card #7 has some scuffed pinholes at center and card cards #1 and #2 have some tape stains around the edges (the original tape was not used for any restoration purpose and they are not really visible from the front except in one tiny area at upper left on card #2). The cards are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have never have had any restoration of any kind! Learn More about condition grades
