An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Go West, the 1925 Buster Keaton silent cowboy western comedy ("The Laugh-Buster!"; about a man from a small town who goes to New York City, but is quickly disillusioned, and he gets on a train going west, and he falls off the train in a western town, where he surprisingly becomes a successful cowhand, and ends up alone on a train with 1,000 cows) starring Buster Keaton, Howard Truesdale, Kathleen Myers, Ray Thompson, Brown Eyes (the cow), and Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle (in an uncredited role as a woman!). Buster Keaton knew that a lot of the success of this movie would depend on his personal relationship with "his Pal of the Plains", Brown Eyes the cow, and so he personally "trained" her, to build up their chemistry. The production was halted for two weeks when Brown Eyes went in heat and was unavailable to work, and she was paid $13 a week and received billing! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1925 movie paper from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards and a still from the first release of this movie until we received this still! Condition: good.
