An Undated (probably 1970) Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Important Added Info: Note that it is quite common for re-release posters to not be nearly as nice as the first release (or to reuse the exact same image, sometimes with less color), but in the case of this poster, it has a really wonderful completely different image from the original! The poster had tiny paper loss at just a few crossfolds and a very few creases, scuffs, and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines.
