An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

How To Play Football, the 1944 Jack Kinney Walt Disney family animated animation cartoon college football sports comedy short (produced by Walt Disney) featuring the voices of Pinto Colvig (as Goofy), and Billy Bletcher (as the narrator). Note that this was one of ten "How to..." cartoons created by Walt Disney between 1942 and 1953. Each was a "pseudo-instructional" documentary-like cartoon, but of course, each quickly devolved into slapstick, especially since the star was Goofy! The first cartoon in this series was "How to Play Baseball", and the most popular cartoons in this series are the ones that revolve around sports, especially the ones for baseball, football, and golf. Not surprisingly, the one-sheets for these cartoons are extremely rare, likely because they were purchased by fans of those sports decades ago and have never returned to the poster collecting hobby!

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1944 movie paper from this Disney cartoon short is incredibly rare. We have never previously auctioned anything from it until we received this still!

Condition: very good to fine. There is slight darkening in the extreme outer edges. Otherwise, the still is in excellent condition!
