Artist: Saul Bass Important Added Info: Note that the title card (which solely has the classic silhouette art) is not marked, but it is NOT the style A title card (which has much writing and headshots of the stars in addition to a small image of the silhouette art), and since we know that there IS a style A title card on this title, we assume that this card is the style B. Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away earlier this year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. Condition: very good. The cards have some faint smudges around the edges and a very few creases. One card has a pinhole in each bottom corner. One card has six tiny pieces of tape on the back of the top and bottom borders, where it was likely once attached to a mat. The title card has some faint smudges in the white background areas.
