Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had a diagonal crease across the upper part, running through the bridge of Langdon's nose, but missing his eyes. It had staining, surface paper loss, and some tiny paper loss scattered above and below the word "The" in the title, slightly entering the "R" and "N" of "STRONG". There were some pinholes, stains, and tears around the edges, with paper loss near the middle of the right border. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone linenbacked the poster many years ago, with no excess and no restoration. While this incredibly rare poster can certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, it could also be removed from the old linen and re-backed, and after proper restoration, it will display wonderfully, and only require a small amount of paint restoration within the image, title, or credits area. Either way, the new owner will have an incredibly rare poster to display on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
