An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Colombian Movie Poster (measures approximately 27" x 39") (Learn More) Vincent Blasco Ibanez' Blood and Sand, the 1941 Rouben Mamoulian Spain bullfighting matador toreador romantic love triangle melodrama ("The matador who defied death... for love!"; "Tyrone Power in Vicente Blasco Ibanez' Blood and Sand"; "Based on the novel by Vicente Blasco Ibanez"; produced by Darryl F. Zanuck) starring Tyrone Power Jr., Linda Darnell, Rita Hayworth, Alla Nazimova (billed as "Nazimova"), Anthony Quinn, J. Carrol Naish, Lynn Bari, John Carradine, Laird Cregar, Monty Banks, Vicente Gomez, and George Reeves. Note that famous silent screen star Alla Nazimova came out of retirement in 1940 and made five movies from then to 1945, including this one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This Spanish poster measures approximately 27" x 39" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had tiny holes at the crossfolds and minor fold wear. There were pinholes in the corners and some tears, creases, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster.
