Original Vintage Theatrical Belgian Poster (measures 14" x 22") (Learn More)

Tototarzan, the 1950 Mario Mattoli Italian jungle adventure comedy parody (based on the novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs; a parody of 'Tarzan of the Apes'!) starring Toto (in the title role), Marilyn Buferd, Bianca Maria Fusari, Alba Arnova, Adriana Serra, and Sophia Loren (in a minor role and billed as "Sofia Lazzaro"). Note that we have only seen Italian and Belgian posters for this film, and we suspect it was not released in the U.S. because this was an "unauthorized" film which was not approved by the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs. The Italian censors apparently missed a nude scene featuring Adriana Serra, and this reinforces the "unauthorized" theory because we doubt the estate would allow a nude scene in an authorized Tarzan movie. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
