Seminario Nacional para Dirigentes de Cine Clubs (literally translates to "National Seminar for Film Club Leaders"), the circa 1970s poster advertising a seminar held from June 16th to the 18th at the Museum of Modern Art at the Universidad Nacional in Bogota. Note that this poster features art of Charlie Chaplin holding a flower! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods.
