Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Czechoslovakian Movie Poster (measures 13" x 18") (Learn More)

La Nuit Americaine (released in the U.S. as "Truffaut's Day for Night"), the classic 1973 Francois Truffaut (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) French/Italian romantic melodrama ("A movie for people who love movies."; which has a movie within a movie and is considered by many to be the best movie ever made about film making) starring Jacqueline Bisset, Valentina Cortese (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Dani, Alexandra Stewart, Jean-Pierre Leaud, Jean Champion, Jean-Pierre Aumont, Francois Truffaut, Nike Arrighi, Natahalie Baye, David Markham, and Bernard Menez

Important Added Info: This Czech poster measures 13" x 18" and is linenbacked. This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them!

Condition: fine. This poster was in fine condition prior to linenbacking. It appears to have had the following defects: prior to linenbacking the poster had been folded in half and there was a tack hole in the "O" in "NOC" at upper center but these very minor defects are not very noticeable now; there is a single tack hole in each corner of the linen.
