He acted in a number of German movies in the 1920s and early 1930s, and he came to the U.S. and began making movies there in 1942. Some of his movies include: Lifeboat, The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm, Born to Kill, and Treasure Island. He passed away in 1983 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure from 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" to 8" x 10", and one has been trimmed. Condition: very good. Two of the stills have uneven discoloration caused by a snipe once glued to the back and/or faint ink stains within the image, and one has been neatly trimmed along the top edge, but otherwise they are in pretty nice condition!
