A 1954 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Flying Tigers, the 1942 David Miller World War II (WWII) military airplane aviation pilot dogfight action thriller ("Headed for the greatest entertainment ovation given a motion picture in years..."; "Strong brave men flying in the face of death that we may live"; "See these sky-devils revenge Pearl Harbor and strike terror to Tokyo"; "Original Story by Kenneth Gamet"; about the Flying Tigers, the remarkable American volunteer group which flew missions against the Japanese in China before America's entry into World War II) starring John Wayne, John Carroll, Anna Lee, Paul Kelly, Gordon Jones, Bill Shirley, Mae Clarke, Tom Neal, "and a cast of thousands" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. small stain in the top of the "G" in "TIGERS" at lower center; approximately 1/4" of paper loss in the bottom crossfold as well as minor separation at the other crossfolds and ends of the foldlines; 1" "v" shaped tear at upper center in the "W" in "WAYNE" as well as some tears in each corner from rough removal of staples; minor creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so along the foldlines). The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are relatively minor, and are the type that respond extremely well to restoration. After linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster would look wonderful, and there would be little paint anywhere on the poster! Learn More about condition grades
