An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 9 1/4" x 11 3/4" [23 x 30 cm]; 98 pages) (Learn More)

Universal 1926-27, the 1926 campaign book ("Universal's Greater Movie List") featuring images and information about upcoming Universal movie releases for the 1926-27 season including: Taxi Taxi, The Starmaker, Les Miserables, The Runaway Express, four different Hoot Gibson full-page ads for four different movies, and many, many more! This campaign book contains colorful artwork for an upcoming movie on each right hand page as well as information about that movie on the left hand page. This book has some of the finest full-color artwork of any campaign book, and we wish we could reproduce all of the ads, because they are just so incredible! Also note that, as was often the case with these campaign books, it is likely that some of the movies advertised were either never made, had their titles changed before they were released, or were made with different casts than those announced in the campaign book!

Important Added Info: Note: We have 12 images of the campaign books in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 12 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 2.

Condition: good to very good. The covers have staining, more so around the edges. There is paper loss and tears at the spine, and both covers are separated from the rest of the book. The interior pages are mostly in really nice condition (see our images).
