An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Joe Penner (born Jozsef Pinter) was a Hungarian actor and radio comic from the 1930s to the 1940s. He is completely forgotten today, except by film buffs, but starting in 1933, he had major success as a Jerry Lewis-like slapstick comedian (his trademark line was "Wanna buy a duck?"). Some of his movies include: The Boys from Syracuse, The Life of the Party, and Go Chase Yourself. He passed away in 1941 at the age of 36 from a heart attack Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Joe Penner! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity.
