An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 45 1/4" x 61 3/4") (Learn More) The Devil's Brother (also released as "Fra Diavolo"), the 1933 Hal Roach & Charley Rogers 17th century Italy romantic bandit musical comedy ("From The famous Comic Opera 'Fra Diavolo' by Auber"; also produced by Hal Roach; about a famed Italian bandit, who poses as a nobleman in order to get close to rich people and then rob them; Stan and Ollie join with the bandit, with outrageous comic results!) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Dennis King (in the title role as "Fra Diavolo"), Thelma Todd, James Finlayson, Lucile Browne, Arthur Pierson, and Darla Hood (the future Our Gang member, when she was just 18 months old!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Benare Condition: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at just a few crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! At some point after it was backed, the poster was roughly handled, and there are now creases in the left and right, but they are only in the excess linen and not in the poster itself.
