Auction History Result #004 TELEGRAPH TRAIL 4 LCs R39 John Wayne Date Sold 12/18/2001Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 1939 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Lobby Cards (Measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Telegraph Trail, the 1933 Tenny Wright cowboy western starring John Wayne ("The Rough Riding Star"), Duke ("The Miracle Horse"), Frank McHugh, Marceline Day, Otis Harlan, Albert J. Smith, Yakima Canutt, Lafe McKee, and Slim Whitaker. Note that in this early movie (and in several of his other early movies), John Wayne's horse was named Duke (which was the name of Wayne's childhood dog). Of course, many years later, Wayne himself would become known as "The Duke"! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fine. Each card had a pencil mark in the right of the top blank border that has since been erased and is only very slightly visible. Two of the cards have a tiny tear in the right of the top blank border and one card has a small area of darkening in the Learn More about condition grades
