An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Clint Eastwood is an actor and director from the 1950s to the present. Initially well-known for his gritty roles, his rugged looks, and famous movie quotes such as "Go ahead, make my day", he has also become a very well-regarded director. Some of his movies include: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Unforgiven (which won the Best Picture Academy Award, and for which he won the Best Director Academy Award AND was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, Dirty Harry, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Where Eagles Dare, In the Line of Fire, High Plains Drifter, Mystic River (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Million Dollar Baby (for which he won the Best Director Academy Award, and was nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award), Letters From Iwo Jima (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and many more. As of 2023, he is still alive at the age of 93! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Clint Eastwood! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So it is an original still from , but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good.
