An Undated (probably 1944) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Kid From Spain, the 1932 Leo McCarey romantic musical comedy (featuring choreography by Busby Berkeley; about two college friends who get kicked out of school and go to Mexico where they have many adventures, and meet great Spanish bullfighter Eddie Cantor!) starring Eddie Cantor, Lyda Roberti and The Goldwyn Girls (who included then-unknown Jane Wyman, Toby Wing, Betty Grable, and Paulette Goddard), Noah Beery Sr., Robert Young, J. Carrol Naish, Grace Poggi (a Spanish dancer discovered by Samuel Goldwyn, who does a rumba in the film that is said to be "good for rheumatic and tired old business men"!), and Sidney Franklin (an American matador, as himself). Note that Busby Berkeley's assistant on the movie was Fred Zinnemann, who would go on to great fame as a great director of some of the best movies of all time!
