An Original Vintage 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm] Television Still (Learn More) Liberace (born Wladziu Valentino Liberace) was a flamboyant pianist and occasional actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was a classical pianist prodigy who turned "mainstream", and became a major star in the 1950s, performing with his trademark candelabra on his piano. He only appeared in a few movies, including Sincerely Yours. He passed away in 1987 at the age of 67 from complications of AIDS. Important Added Info: Note that this still is from the first showing of the 2/11/67 episode of "The Hollywood Palace". We know that for certain because it has the date printed on the snipe on the back. It is very hard to find stills from 1950s or 1960s TV episodes that are absolutely from the first release, and are surely not from a 1960s or 1970s re-broadcast. Also note that this TV still measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/4" [18 x 23 cm]. Condition: good to very good. There is a tiny tear in the lower right border and some creases around the edges.
